hi all,
I'm trying to find where I can purchase audio described movies on dvd. more specifically, slumdog millionaire, and the new startrack 2009.
Or, if I can download them with relative ease, that'd be fine as well.
Kind regards.

Do you know about the blindmicemart.com? Go to the site and click on movie vault and you can download DVS movies.

Blind Mice Mart is amazing! I know for a fact that Slumdog's on there, the newest Star Trek movie isn't yet but once it comes out it probably will be. The System Access Mobile Network from Serotek also offers a wide selection of described movies, but you have to join the network in order to access them and that means paying a monthly fee for all the other features too, many of which honestly aren't really worth it. A lot of the movies Blind Mice Mart offers can also be found there.

I'm also wondering where I can find audio books?
Does this mean I have to post such a topic in booknook?

the new star trek is just called star trek, this is correct. And yeah, blind mice mart is freaking amazing, also, most of your newer dvds now come with audio descriptions now in their menus.

The latest Star Trek is just called Star Trek. As for DVDS, Universal Home Video and Sony Pictures are the two offering description on DVDs. I just watched "Wanted" from Netflix and it was great with the description.

The new Star Trek is up on the System Access Mobile Network but like mentioned above, it's a pay subscription to gain access. Star Trek the Motion Picture is the original Star Trek movie from back in the day. The new one is just called Star Trek although, System Access has it listed as Star Trek XI for some reason.
